It all started back in 1986, when a friend asked Greg and Tracey Currie to film their wedding day. That first “I do” behind the camera sparked a lifelong passion for capturing real moments — the laughter, the little details, and the stories that make every occasion unique.
Over the years, their hobby grew into Currie Country Videography, offering wedding films, graduation videos, promotional features, and aerial drone photography across Southern Manitoba and the Pembina Valley. Each project carries that same personal touch — honest, heartfelt, and beautifully edited to reflect the people and places they love.
- WEDDINGS -
When Greg bought his first drone in 2014, he was instantly hooked by the new perspective it brought to his storytelling. Now on his fourth upgrade, he combines aerial videography, photography, and rural storytelling to showcase Manitoba’s beauty from above. With deep agricultural roots, farm videos are a personal favorite — from harvest days to in-cab interviews that preserve generations of wisdom and memory.
While Tracey films from the ground, Greg captures the bird’s-eye view, creating cinematic productions that blend emotion, artistry, and perspective. Whether it’s a wedding, community event, or tourism project, their teamwork adds a unique dimension to every story.

Greg and Tracey have also started a fun YouTube channel that focuses on the communities of Pembina and Louise Municipalities. The channel showcases the people, events, business, and personal interests that make up a rural lifestyle.

- AGRICULTURE VIDEO & PHOTOGRAPHY -
Greg’s solid background in agriculture make farming related videos a personal favourite. He will often will jump in the piece of equipment he has just droned and interview the operator, if wanted. The resulting edited stories have been a huge hit with families capturing Grandpa or Grandma talking about the good old days and how things have changed.

- FARMYARDS & RURAL SITES -
Offering packages that include 30-50 high resolution pictures along with 5-10 min of video for as low as $125 plus mileage has proven popular in Currie Country. Having the ability to mimic past farm photos to see the changes along with doing multiple seasons in the same yard is the flexibility drones have over conventional air photography.

- MUNICIPALITIES & COMMUNITIES -
Rural living has a special appeal. Video production highlights the local services and events that make your community special, whether the goal is tourism or attracting permanent residents. Being able to come out and shoot when you want the shot done is the largest advantage drones have over regular aerial video/photography. Both digital still and video can be done on the same flights.
